Our Adult Based Ministries

Baptist Men:

The Men’s Brotherhood Ministry provides an opportunity for men to meet together for support, encouragement, and spiritual growth. This is usually accomplished through a breakfast meeting on Sunday mornings throughout the year with guest speakers who share a testimony and challenge other men in the walk with Christ. There is also a Baptist Men Handyman Ministry for local needs in the community.

Praise Team

The Praise Team is an ensemble who lead the musical worship each week with a blend of contemporary, traditional and gospel music.    They have lead worship in many different settings and help enhance the worship experience with a unique style and love of their savior.

FBC Cherryville's Sanctuary Choir

This choir consists of volunteers who love to sing God’s praises and are dedicated to enhancing the worship experience with music.  The only requirement to join the choir is a desire to worship God from your heart and sing to Him with a spirit of worship and praise!

The sanctuary choir has traveled to Germany, Austria, Cheque Republic, and Italy. They performed in several cities and worship services.   These travels allowed us to share traditional hymns, contemporary music, and acapella songs to hundreds in the church and community settings in each of these cities.   Not only do they lead in worship, but also participate in community worship services, ministering to local nursing homes and enhancing the history of sacred music through study, practice, and prayer.

This choir rehearses weekly on Sunday evenings.  For more information about joining the choir, please send an email to musicfbc@fbccherryville.com
